Yujin Jung

Yujin Jung (b.1990) is a multi-disciplinary fashion creative based between London and Seoul. She graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design in 2017. Her practice spans design, creative direction, education, and personal projects, shaped by living and working across South Korea, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Yujin’s design aesthetic is colourful, with references to childhood and innocence. Her motto, “never get old, keep on dreaming,” stems from her observations of how many people adopt more “mature” and boring wardrobes as they age to meet societal expectations. She believes that, regardless of age, one should never stop channelling who they want to be.

Alongside her design practice, Yujin continues to expand her relationship with garments through teaching, making, and hands-on work — including alterations and repairs — engaging with clothing as something lived-in, evolving, and personal.

Her approach to fashion is grounded in care, longevity, and conscious choice. Rather than following prescriptive approaches, she continues to explore a balance between expressive aesthetics and responsible practice, allowing creativity and consideration to coexist without compromise.
